Making your first tweet can be pretty daunting. Do you just go with the cliche, “Hey, I’m on Twitter, woo!” or do you try and get a little creative with it?
I remember the first time that I joined Twitter and I felt like I Neil Armstrong, just as he was about to hit the Moon surface – the difference was, I didn’t come up with anything memorable at all (oh, and I was sitting behind a keyboard with a beer).
Thinking about it, I don’t think it was anything like Neil Armstrong’s Moon landing, but you get the idea!
The point that I’m trying to make is that writing your first Tweet is tough. With this in mind, I’ve gathered the very first tweets from some of the biggest brands in the world so that you can see just how they lost their Twitter virginity…
